Umhlanga Lighthouse

Beaming out as far as 24 nautical miles and reaching 21 metres high, this fully automatic lighthouse was completed in 1954. It was built to replace the Bluff Lighthouse as a result of degeneration. The lighthouse is traditionally painted white with a red top and has become a popular attraction.
