V&A Waterfront

Waterfront

Set against the backdrop of Table Mountain, right on the waters edge; the V&A Waterfront is a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. Filled with an abundant array of restaurants, boutiques and variety stores all found in the magnificent setting of a working harbour, the Waterfront is an example of creative architecture and restoration and has become South Africa's most visited tourist attraction.

Explore the magnificent aqua world of the Two Oceans Aquarium or take a ferry tour around the harbor soaking up the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the friendly attention of the local seals. The Nelson Mandela Gateway in the Clock Tower precinct is also found at Waterfront and is the starting point of the Robben Island tour.

With an abundance of restaurants to choose from, visitors can enjoy a meal at a fine dining restaurant overlooking the harbour, or relax at a waterside pub while being entertained by the local entertainers.
