Borakalalo means “place where people relax.” This 14 000 ha reserve is found in a malaria free area and is located 60 km north of Brits.

There are excellent fishing opportunities at the 800 ha Klipvoor Dam and bird lovers can spot up to 350 different bird species including African finefoot and white backed night heron.

The park is also home to 35 species of mammal which includes white rhino, leopard and zebra.
