This reserve has an abundance of wild flowers including 135 species of protea. There is a 3 – 4 hour circular walk as well as other various trails to enjoy. Other attractions and facilities include wooden bridges, picnic spots, lawns, indigenous trees and shrubs, an abundance of birdlife and a tearoom.

A wild flower show is held here every year in spring to exhibit the many flowers that are abundant in the area.

Visitors are advised to remember to bring along their own clean drinking water when walking/hiking in the reserve.
