Situated in the Martin Melck House in the Cape Town City Centre, this museum is home to a large collection of African gold items, including ancient gold artefacts and objects from West Africa and other old civilisations of Southern Africa.

Guided tours of this magnificent museum can be arranged by appointment. Interesting goldsmith workshops are also on offer to visitors.

The museum also boasts its own shop filled with unique items and treasures.

Entrance Fees: Adults R40, Pensioners R30, Students R30 and Children R25.
