King Shaka International Airport

Around 35 kilometres north of Durban city centre, the King Shaka International Airport is the main airport in Durban.
The airport opened in 2010 for the FIFA World Cup replacing Durban International Airport. From 2013 to 2016, King Shaka Airport won the award for "Best Airport in the World Handling Under 5 million Passengers".
