Polokwane, formerly Pietersburg, is the capital city of the Limpopo province and this bustling hubbub is the largest commercial centre of the North as well as being in close proximity to the neighbouring countries of Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique.
With elegant historical buildings, Jacaranda lined streets and a host of parks, Polokwane is an attractive city and is conveniently located en-route to the Kruger National Park and other scenic and cultural attractions. Within the city there are a number of sites if historical interest to visit as well an extensive art collection at the Polokwane Museum and many public sculptures.
