Situated along Route 62 in the Klein Karoo, Ladismith lies at the foot of the Klein Swartberg mountain range with the split peak of Towerkop towering over the town. The majestic peaks and ravines of the Swartberg range create an outdoor and adventure mecca with everything from abseiling to rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking to be enjoyed.
One of Ladismith’s most popular attractions is Seven Weeks Poort, a mountain pass which makes for an unforgettable scenic drive through a spectacular ravine, jagged cliffs and rocky outcrops. Also in the area are a number of nature reserves offering day hikes, bird watching and beautiful surroundings.
