Surrounded by orchards, vineyards and stud farms and located on the banks of the Breede River, Robertson is a colourful country town where visitors will experience warm and friendly hospitality and fresh country air.
The town is picturesque with purple-bloomed Jacarandas, roses and a combination of Victorian and Georgian lining the streets. Some of the regions most acclaimed wine estates can be found in the Robertson valley and a visit to one of the many cellars for some wine tasting and a ‘chat’ with one of the local winemakers is a must.
In addition, there are plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking and mountain biking in a variety of nature and game reserves surrounding the town. Fishing, swimming and river cruises can be enjoyed on the Breede River.
