If you are looking for self-catering, pet-friendly accommodation with WOOD FIRED HOT TUBS in the Western Cape, then Kloofzicht Estate Country House is the place for you. The setting is ideal for weddings, birthday parties and special occasions or simply as a relaxing getaway. Kloofzicht Estate is the first wine estate as you approach the valley from the Nuwekloof pass (R46) and is about 4km before the Tulbagh Village.
This self-catering, pet-friendly accommodation includes The Farmhouse, The Loft and The Cottages, and is set in the tranquil Tulbagh valley, totally surrounded by mountains on all sides.
All the units are fully equipped for self-catering and are not serviced. However, our housekeeper, will refresh bathrooms and empty bins daily should you wish. Please arrange a time that suits you both.
Should you require additional cleaning such as dish-washing, or babysitting, this may be arranged directly with our housekeeper at R180 per half day or R50 per hour and may be settled with her directly.
There is an inviting 14m swimming pool next to the main house which may be enjoyed by all guests staying at Kloofzicht Estate. All linen and bath towels are supplied, but please bring extra towels for swimming and relaxing in our WOOD FIRED HOT TUBS.
DAY FISHING ? If you are not a guest at Kloofzicht Estate, but interested in day fishing for carp or bass, book a delicious breakfast or lunch at our fabulous Farm Deli to gain access to our dams. Reservations Mela : +27711160344
This is known as the secluded valley for good reason as you won’t pass through Tulbagh on your way to anywhere. It’s a welcome hiatus and the ideal weekend escape if you’re in the Western Cape.

Rates for the first 6 guests. Additional guests at an additional cost.The Loft Room is huge and has a king-size bed on one side, a lounge area in the centre and two single beds ideal for children or additional adults on the opposite side. The king bed is screened off from this side for privacy.
A Romeo and Juliet balcony overlooks the dam and has stunning sunset views over the mountains. Leading off The Loft Room is a small second double bedroom, The Annex and a spacious bathroom with a shower. The Annex has a double bed.
The is downstairs and consists of an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a daybed for an overnight guest in front of the fireplace. Leading off this area is the spacious Art Deco Suite. Sliding doors lead out to a large wraparound deck to relax with a sundowner and enjoy the sunset. The Art Deco Room has a queen-size bed, a lounge area, one-and-a-half bathrooms and opens on to the garden. The internal door connects to the open plan living room.
