Millpond House is situated in the quaint little village of Clarens in the Eastern Free State. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity where one can enjoy a home from home experience.
There are three rooms in the main house, all with separate entrances and two luxury rooms in a free-standing cottage.
In all, there are five tastefully decorated rooms (accommodating 10) all with bathrooms ensuite and small kitchenettes.
Mill Creek Cottage: Is a free-standing cottage with two deluxe suites, the Walnut Room and the Rose Room. They both have separate entrances, private patios, ensuite bathrooms (with slipper bath & shower), kitchenettes, fire-places, under-tile heating, electric blankets, microwaves, and DSTV etc.
Millpond House: Has three rooms with separate entrances; The Garden Room, Room With a View and The Blue Room. They are similar to Mill Creek Cottage except that they do not have fireplaces. Room With a View: The newest addition to Millpond House. A wonderful upstairs room with an exquisite view. Equipped with a balcony, kitchenette and an ensuite bathroom with a shower - a relaxing stay is guaranteed.
Millpond House is a haven of peace and tranquillity. The rose-filled garden is a mass of colours and fragrances where chickens roam around freely. Millpond House boasts magnificent views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Scrumptious, wholesome, country breakfasts are served in the sunny dining room. Millpond House is also a hotspot and guests are free to access the (LAN) wireless internet.
