Description
Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the East-African Seaboard, on the Coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary. Located on 30 000 hectares of pristine Marine and Wildlife territory, it provides a unique Beach & Wilderness experience in a hidden corner of sub-tropical Africa. The lodge offers 12 luxuriously appointed, air-conditioned chalets with direct access to the beach via individual walkways. The lodge also features an interflowing swimming pool with an island-style bar and martini seats with spectacular views of the ocean.
Each villa has two bedrooms and a plunge pool. All rooms have outdoor showers and twin beds that can be converted into queen-size beds. Each chalet also has a private deck furnished with day beds for relaxation or wellness treatments, and where private dinners can be enjoyed. Rates include full board, three daily means, bottled water, and non-motorised sports such as windsurfing, snorkelling, hobby cat, kayaking, walking trails, beach walks, and bird watching.

| Directions: Vilanculos is approximately 700km north of Maputo. Daily flights are available from OR Tambo International to Vilanculos. The trip from the Airport to the boat takes approx 10min and the boat transfer to Dugong Beach Lodge takes approx 45min. |
