Karoo Art Hotel is a funky, relaxed and welcoming country hotel situated in the Klein Karoo on the scenic Route 62 between Cape Town and Oudtshoorn, in the farming village of Barrydale. This charming hotel offers the most vital ingredient: warm, old-fashioned Karoo hospitality.
Whenever you find that a particular weekend or other period is blocked, this does not necessarily mean that no accommodation is available.

Whichever room you choose you get that extra quality that counts: top quality mattresses, soft percale linen, piping hot showers. With the exception of the Garden Suite, all rooms are located on the first floor, some with views from balconies overlooking the village or garden. Other in-room facilities: In-room bathrooms with shower and bath or shower only, fans for summertime, gas heaters and electric blankets for wintertime, hair dryers, filter coffee and tea-making facilities, telephone, Wi-Fi in every room
We have secure parking for all our guests at the top of a beautiful terraced garden with water features. Around our crystal clear pool we have umbrellas and tables and chairs where our guests can lounge in the sun. The restaurant serves excellent typical South African cuisine and authentic Karoo dishes, all designed with a twist. Together with our comprehensive top-notch wine list, you are promised an excellent Klein Karoo food & wine experience. Guests love sharing a drink at our bar where we regularly arrange live music events. The lounge with fireplace invites to a glass of Klein Karoo port during winter months.
