Florentia Guest House is situated in the Northern part of Bloemfontein in the charming old suburb of Waverley with its tree - lined streets. It is situated at the foot of Naval Hill, close to to the Naval Hill Nature Reserve. The old Orchid House is within walking distance. The Oliewenhuis Art Museum and the residencies of the Chief of Justice and the Premier of the Free State are close by.
We offer 5 unique bedrooms each with their own style. Experience the warmth of hand made quilts in each room, and several award winning quilts on the walls. Jolena van Rooyen has been making quilts since the late seventies and she has won several National Awards. Various quilts are on show in the Florentia Guest House. Some rooms have private entrances, known as the Aalen garden units. Well equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge available for the exclusive use of the guests. All rooms en suite with bath and shower. Please note that our rooms have either Queen or Twin beds - please let us know which you prefer.
