Mr golding 09 April 2014 Penny Farthing is located in an ideal location for exploring the Battlefields. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable and we enjoyed an evening meal with the owner and his manager who provided us with a wealth of information about the farm and the battlefields. In the morning we were provided with an excellent breakfast which set us up for a hard days ‘exploring. We would like to return for a longer period in order to enjoy the farm and hiking trails.
A Little Gem
Mr Raw 26 August 2009 A very comfortable and homely country house that is convenient for touring the Battlefields. We felt part of the family as everyone ate together. The electric blankets were especially welcomed too. The food was excellent as was the service. We would certainly recommend The Penny Farthing.
