A Little Gem
Mr Raw 26 August 2009 A very comfortable and homely country house that is convenient for touring the Battlefields. We felt part of the family as everyone ate together. The electric blankets were especially welcomed too. The food was excellent as was the service. We would certainly recommend The Penny Farthing.
Don't expect to find a penny farthing but it worths the trip
Dr Amari 13 September 2006 Provided that is better obtaining - by phone for example- a good explanation of the route , we state , having reached the place , that you will enjoy your stay so much . Very good cuisine , cosy and warm location , entertaining conversation about WW2 and Italy and how the world is very small.
If you are fond of history is the perfect place.
And don't miss the dogs !
The penny farthing ( the bike) is elsewhere. Some Italian people are still looking for it and some others my countryman are still wondering what happened to a coin !
