Guests have the opportunity to experience living on a working dairy farm while staying in one of 5 accommodation options: A comfortable, spacious and lovingly renovated 150 year-old farmstead OR a modern, sunny, spacious accommodation unit with great views over a farm dam and the Outeniqua Mountains OR 3 luxury cottages in close proximity to another.
The area is a huge attraction for any nature-lover. Hiking, bird-watching, paragliding, canoeing, surfing, whale-watching and mountain-biking are just some of the activities this area is well known for. Visits to the dairy and feeding the calves are always an exciting experience for the kids. Guests are close to all the tourist activities but are able to retreat to the quiet and tranquil surrounds of Libertas to rest and plan the next days' action.
All linen (100% percale cotton) & bath towels provided. There is a well equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area, fireplace, fans, heaters, television with movies available (no satellite TV). Wi-Fi hotspot tickets sold.
Television with DVD-player & movies available on DVD or USB flash. Many board games and ball games available.
Please note:
* No adults allowed to stay in the loft at The Farmhouse as it provides no privacy and is best suited for children.
* During the quiet periods we have a minimum stay period of 2 days.
* During the busier school holidays our minimum stay is 3 nights.
* During the December/January school holiday period we implement a minimum stay of 8 nights.
* Over Christmas/New Year the minimum stay period is 12 nights.
