"This is by far the friendliest, cleanest guest house you could ever imagine. I travelled alone to South Africa for a wedding and was a bit nervous as it was my first time in SA and did not know anyone there. I was also concerned about the security issues I had heard about. I researched RoomsForAfrica and of all the Guest houses I found Olaf's in Seapoint was the one! An extremely secure little 'haven'!

I had the most wonderful welcome from Bev and felt as soon as I had arrived that I was indeed 'home from home' just as said in their marketing.

I had a terrific double room with my own balcony where I had breakfast each morning in the sun - adjacent to the little pool. I have never had such a good breakfast buffet with such choice and an amazing cooked breakfast, if wanted. The rooms were SO clean too.
Raymond the owner is a lovely man - very friendly and full of suggestions of places to see and things to do. His guest house has such a lovely feel to it - you feel like you are in his own living room it is so beautifully decorated and so 'homely' (even though he and the staff do not stay on site).

There is no doubt that when I visit Cape Town again - I shall definitely be staying at 'Olaf's' - a fantastic place!!! Thanks Raymond, Bev, and all the staff!
