Ensconced in the magical Oliphant’s River Valley, the recently unveiled Clanwilliam Lodge is a colloquial gem emerging off the beaten track, oasis-like in its unforgiving semi-desert habitat.
Only a two hours drive from Cape Town, the lodge offers 32 luxury air-conditioned rooms, a poolside restaurant, a treatment room and delicious cuisine.
Visitors should prepare to enjoy balmy summer days lounging on Bedouin daybeds at the pool and hot windless nights in pure understated luxury at Clanwilliam Lodge - where half measures are only available on request from the bar.
All rooms are luxuriously air-conditioned and have an en suite bathroom. Junior and Presidential Suites have the option of a balcony. All our suites have a shower and a bath, and all our rooms are fitted with a shower. Our Premiere rooms and Suites have DVD players and DVD rentals are available.
Our conference facilities can cater for up to 30 delegates.
The beauty salon offers treatments such as facials, massages, manicures, etc. Come and spoil yourself!
A hearty buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant every morning and is included in your stay. Choose from our light lunch menu and dinner is either A la Carte or an extensive buffet spread. Picnic hampers are available on request or experience the nearby Lamberts Bay eatery Muisbosskerm for a sublime seafood treat.

| Directions: Clanwilliam is 212km from Cape Town and a two hour drive by car. Take the N7 off the N1 from Cape Town; pass the towns of Malmesbury, Moorreesburg, Piketberg and finally Citrusdal before you cross over the Oliphant’s River to take the Clanwilliam turnoff. |

What a wonderful surprise after a long road - friendly staff, clean and well maintained rooms, and an ice cold beer! I can highly recommend this lodge.
