Bushfellows Private Game Lodge & Conference Centre is approximately 2hrs drive from Johannesburg and offers an abundance of bird life and game as well as exquisite cuisine.
Bushfellows has unspoilt bush to explore. With a fleet of four special game viewing Landrovers to drive them, guests are guaranteed a seat on a fascinating trip through the park. With 17 species of antelope, Warthog and hundreds of insect and bird varieties, Bushfellows is one of the most densely populated game ranches in Southern Africa. The chances of experiencing a game-filled drive are excellent, both night and day.
Accommodation ranges from bushcamps and chalets to two breath taking honeymoon suites. The chalets at Bushfellows' epitomise rustic beauty and luxury. All under thatch, the chalets are fitted with fine linen and the en-suite bathrooms are all fully equipped. The chalets are located surrounding the swimming pool and are named after birds found in the area.
Bush Fellows luxury tented camp is situated in the bush, half a kilometre from the main lodge. The camp consists of 5 large tents, each complete with a double bed and wooden clothes drawers. An open air ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin leads from the tent. Tents are fully serviced. There is no electricity in this camp. Lighting is by paraffin and gas lamps and cooling facilities by gas fridges.
The newest addition to the Bushfellows stable is Rock Lodge - set up on the highest point of the veld. It boasts a stone finish, double volume accommodation, complete with four poster draped bed and old fashioned ball and claw bath with a view of the veld. You may even catch a glimpse of passing plains game from your bath window.Rock Lodge has its own private deck with Jacuzzi. Here our chefs will serve you a meal for two alongside your private watering holes where kudu gather at dusk.
Enjoy excellent meals in the thatched dining area - or relax and enjoy dinner in true African style in the central open-air lapa. Enjoy game viewing and a host of other outdoor activities. Conference venue. Bowhunting Farm.

Treated like royality

I took my partner for a surprise weekend away and chose Bushfellows as it look like a pretty good place to stay. Once we arrived the full beauty hit us. We received a warm welcome and everything just got better from there. Everyone is friendly and you get treated as if you are royalty. The food is brilliant as are the services, people, accommodation and views. I would definitely go back there in a heart beat.
