Enjoy rustic country-style setting with an "old farm" atmosphere at Grateful – Christian Guest House and Backpackers Hostel. Run by a young couple in Bloemfontein / Mangaung (South Africa's Central City), makes this an ideal overnight / halfway stop, or medium term accommodation. We are situated in a quiet, spacious, low crime area close to all that Bloemfontein and Mangaung have to offer.
We offer spacious, private, quiet & restful accommodation with large veranda, swimming pool, tree filled gardens and BBQ facilities for your enjoyment. Choose between self-catering, overnight, guest house, bed & breakfast (B&B), dinner bed & breakfast, business / study accommodation, affordable honeymoon and backpackers / hostel accommodation. We also have Workstay, Farmstay, Homestay or Edu-stay positions available. Enquire about our bush-camp / caravan / campsites. Horse stabling and pets allowed by arrangement.
Plenty of parking and space for kids to run around. Rustic Honeymoon/Family Room from R500 per night – Sleeps up to 4 in open-plan rooms with 1 bathroom on-suite. Beds include queen and bunk beds. Bedding, tea/coffee, towels and soap included. (Affordable Honeymoon packages available on request)
Rustic Cottage from R400 per night – Sleeps up to 7 in 3 open-plan rooms with 1 bathroom on-suite. Beds include single and bunk beds. Bedding, tea/coffee, towels and soap included.
Rustic Backpackers from R300 per night – Sleeps up to 6 in an open-plan room and loft with outside bathroom. Beds include bunk and loft beds.
TV’s (Televisions) with SABC 1, 2, 3 & ETV are available in most units (DSTV coming soon). Full-kitchenettes available in some units, and partial communal kitchenettes available for others. Microwave, fridge/freezer, mini-stove/oven, toaster, kettle, crockery & cutlery, iron & board.

| We love Bloemfontein for its unique character, having both the convenience and excitement of a big City, and the warmth and friendliness of a small town. Grateful - Christian Guest House epitomises this character. The cottage was very neat, equipped with all that a family could need, with some very unexpected personal touches like fresh milk and rusks in the kitchen and inspiring books in the bedroom, all in a calm and tranquil atmosphere. Plus our kids loved the pool! We all loved our stay! |
