Point Village is situated in a lovely development of Cape Cod style homes right at the point in Mossel Bay, close to the lighthouse. Location wise this is a good choice. Our room was comfortable and opened onto a deck.
Restaurant tokens are provided for breakfast and there is a good choice of establishments nearby where you can redeem them. Owners are friendly and helpful. |

The Point Village Guesthouse has a wonderful location in Mossel Bay. The room we had had no direct sea view, but on stormy nights that could be an advantage.
Everything in the room was clean and in the colours white and blue, with TV, refrigerator etc. It was also nice to be told that in the area there it is safe to go for a walk at night or park your car. They showed us the exact extensions of this area on the map.
However, the Point Village Guesthouse does not offer breakfast. They give each guest a voucher of 50 Rand valid for 3 or 4 restaurants.

From Cape Town, take Marsh Road to the very end, on the left opposite the school playground and caravan park.
These are the only two roads going to the Point in Mossel Bay and end right in front of the guesthouse. |
