Warmth and welcome await you at The Palms, one of Nelspruit’s most popular and established guest houses. Bordering a nature reserve the lush sub-tropical gardens offer superb views and an abundance of bird life, creating an ambience of peace and tranquillity.
Popular tourist attractions are all within easy travelling distances, i.e. the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest and the historical town of Barberton.
All rooms are individually appointed with your comfort in mind and all are ensuite with television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and ceiling fans. The house itself offers superb views of the subtropical gardens and mountains beyond.
Our breakfast room overlooks the sparkling pool and granite slabs. Your stay will include a comprehensive, full cooked breakfast. We offer packed breakfast and lunches and dinners can be served by arrangement.
The Palms has a guest lounge with a honesty bar. We have a Braai area and parking is secure. Children are welcome to explore the extensive gardens, climb the granite slabs and play in the pool.

Home Away from Home
Mrs Hendry 21 December 2012 The accommodation and facilities offered are superb, clean and comfortable. The owners made as feel at home and couldn't do enough to help with whatever we needed. Their recommendations on local eateries was excellent. We will most definitely be returning.
Perfect for our first nights in Africa
Hubert P 08 August 2010 Our family of five (including three teenagers) stayed here for two nights following our arrival in Johannesburg - and a 3.5 hour drive up to Nelspruit - in July 2010. We were warmly welcomed by Sue and immediately felt at home. The rooms are very well appointed, spotlessly clean, and the gardens are gorgeous. Sue provided us with a delicious "light" meal on our first night, and gave us an excellent recommendation for the second (restaurant "Orange", ten minutes drive from The Palms). Breakfasts were delicious and more than set us up for the day. Sue provided us with excellent local information, concerning shopping and sight-seeing. The Palms is in an upscale area of Nelspruit, and whilst there is evidence of tight security everywhere in the neighbourhood (high walls, razor wire fences, and dogs), with a night watchman out front at The Palms, we felt perfectly safe and there were no security issues.
Nelspruit is an excellent location for preparing for a visit to Kruger, and Sue gave us much helpful advice on what to take and where to shop, all conveniently close to The Palms.
We highly recommend The Palms and would stay there again.
