Description
Tanagra is an idyllic wine farm close to McGregor and part of the Robertson Wine Route and Route 62, producing unique wines in a boutique wine cellar and offering stylish yet authentic accommodation in a naturally elegant farm ambiance.
We offer 3 cottages, 2 apartments and a Loft Studio that are let either as self-catering or on a B & B basis. Each unit sleeps 2 persons/adults (Faraway sleeps 4 persons) and has its own private entrance and veranda/stoep with scenic views on the mountains. All units are tastefully furnished and have private verandas and fireplaces (no fireplace in the Loft Studio). There is a pool with a braai area and sun/deck chairs in the garden (and private braai’s provided for every individual unit). For the more adventurous the majestic farm dam invites for a swim.

Description: Faraway is an eco and architect's cottage built on the most solitary spot of the farm - just fynbos, mountains, endless skies and silence. It has 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, and boasts spectacular views from every angle inside and outside. Lounge/kitchenette/dining area with open fireplace. Large front stoep with plunge pool attached and braai. The rate quoted is for 4 persons sharing. Extra bed for children possible at an additional rate.

| Directions: Tanagra is part of Route 62. It is located on the road from Robertson to McGregor (approx. 14 kilometres from Robertson and 4, 5 kilometres outside McGregor). Arriving from Robertson you will find the Tanagra entrance on the right hand side (No gravel road driving required). |

We chose the seclusion of Hill Cottage. With a popular plunge/spa pool, the cottage is equipped above expectation and well laid out with African themed furnishings. There are various places around the cottage to make a fire, open a bottle of red and braai some meat on this lovely wine farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
