The smell of the sweet country air and the aroma of freshly baked scones and roasted coffee beans, all of this and more, just a few minutes from Fourways Shopping Mall and Montecasino Entertainment and Casino Complex.
This magnificent lodge with its rolling lawns and shimmering dams has been the life long pursuit of Graham and Karelle Foster. The vistas of the surrounding areas with its abundance of birdlife are to be seen to be believed.
Our dams are well stocked with fish and an early morning walk is an enjoyable way to work up an appetite for a delicious breakfast. |

Healing weekend in Johannesburg, July 16 2008

| After a recent stroke which left my active father of 81, blind, we heard that a Healing Service was being held in The Dome in Johannesburg. We booked our tickets hoping for a miracle. Accommodation was our next step - after an easy search online using the map of Johannesburg and finding accommodation close to The Dome, Chartwell Country Lodge looked very appealing. We booked for 9 of us and the cosy lodge was perfect - we could all be together yet have our privacy. The breakfasts were delicious and well presented. We would not hesitate to visit again. Thanks to the hosts. |

The lodge had a very warm friendly atmosphere and Graham, Karelle and their staff were most welcoming ensuring we had a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for their guests.
The actual accommodation was clean and comfortable as were the other amenities on the property and we would not hesitate to recommend the property for a relaxing few days away.
