"We had a such a fantastic although short stay at Cascades Manor. The staff are extremely pleasant, the grounds magnificent and the rooms, just blew us away!

The best part of it all for me was that Cascades Manor has a pond full of the Koi fish (the most beautiful fish on the world). The fish and I share a name, hence the excitement. The house is very homey, with very gentle pets around I.e. dogs and a cat.

Dinner was served promptly. I can only say I wish they had more dinner options on their menu. But maybe I stayed on the wrong day where options were limited. I did however enjoy every last bite of my beef carpaccio starter. How yum!

"This is the way a guesthouse is supposed to be. Gorgeous setting, spacious rooms and very personal service. We have stayed in dozens of hotels and guest houses in South Africa and this one is in our top 5. Great location for events as well. "

Situated near the wineries which are so much en vogue, it provides spacious public areas, decent and clean rooms, good cooking and a nicely sized swimming pool. However, if there is a downside, I would have appreciated a more splendid and mature garden, which is possibly a trifle early if one takes into consideration, that the manor has only been in existence as a guest house for some 5 years. Very recommendable! "
