Abalone Lodges was the complete opposite - the lodges are beautifully maintained and cosy, with some of the most spectacular lagoon views I have ever witnessed! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds unbelievably comfortable, and the bathroom was just bliss (bathing was possibly my favourite activity during our stay in Knysna). The rates are also fantastic, considering how magnificent the lodges are. I would definitely stay at Abalone Lodges again."

"Abalone lodges was brilliant. We had a self-catering cottage with views over the Knysna lagoon, just 5 minutes from the town and waterfront. Our cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. What a find!"

Only two suggestions. Perhaps some bushes could be planted against the back fences and between the braais and it would be really cool if a braai area could be built at the pool so that we could have a braai there while the kiddies are swimming.
