The elephant grass turned from mauve to pink and then to red.
Breakfast was a delicious spread and especially the scones.
Alice, a lady that worked at De Zeekeo, was so friendly and gave us an ostrich egg, (as it was a working ostrich farm), showed us photos she'd taken the day before of icicles on the trees and has emailed me the scone recipe.
My daughter and I went to look at all the ostriches before we left the farm.
A truly memorable overnight stay.
