The team at Itaga interactwith every guest and they make you feel at home. Included in the accommodationis a late afternoon game drive, of which both Danie and Rochelle have excellentknowledge on the wildlife as well as a good sense of humour. During our stay weexperienced nothing but great service from everyone, we even requested certaindietary requirements and it was never an issue. The food was absolutelydelicious. The accommodation was nice and cosy and offered an indoor as well asoutdoor shower. One morning we were greeted by Nyalas outside our bedroomwindow and we were also fortunate to see the klipspringer in its naturalhabitat inside the lodge. Besides the watering hole Itaga also has a stunningviewing deck and the sunsets you experience are breathtaking. Itaga is truly anamazing place."

The service is 5* but at the same time it retains a genuine, unstuffy, home from home but in the bush feel to it.The rooms are great. We adored the inside/outside showers.The game drives were good even though summer is not the best time for spotting game I know. Chris' knowledge was an education.The food is also lovely home cooking. The afternoon pre-game drive snacks were a particular favourite.Highly recommended. Super friendly place. Regarding the game drives, beside of the overall good impression about the professional guiding, my negative surprise was, that the beside of Nyala, Kudu, Impala and Warhogs, the park has relatively small variety of antelopes, and only small population of elephant, buffalo, hyena and the lions are visible only in an enclosure, despite that according to the web homepage, the my expectation was that the lions are free. We also missed the possibility to have a walking safari. "

The staff was strangers to us when we arrived there, but some of them became family after this week. The game drives was so beautiful and we had snacks and hot coffee. We did get so much information about the bush and the wildlife from Richard. Danie also gave us another view of the bush and wildlife. These 2 guys, know the bush.
We were lucky to see Renoster (Rhino), Buffalo, and even Elephants.
The service were fantastic, and we had the privilege of eating the chef Marcello's delicious food.
Simon, was a fantastic host every time and Rachel spoiled my wife with a pedi/manicure.
Management, Gretha, she is very friendly and very helpful.
It was very difficult saying goodbye! Thanks Gretha, Danie, Richard, Simon and all the other staff!!!
