Reviews of Melville B&B and Guesthouse

"Wonderful"

(South Africa) Melinda

"It was wonderful, no problems. Good and friendly service from the staff there. It was self catering and it had everything we needed. I would revisit and recommend Melville B&B and Guesthouse."

"Melville bed and breakfast is undoubtedly a gem in an otherwise average, quiet little town. On arrival, Betty the hostess (owner) was extremely charming and went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The rooms were well appointed and decorated with flair. Little touches, like fresh flowers surrounded by a picture frame, a string of coloured beads draped in a dish with soap and shampoo and editions of De Kat magazine from as far back as 1993, made this a quaint place stay at.

The gardens were beautiful, with a whole section dedicated to herbs, all tastefully displayed interspersed with paving. Betty had a story to tell about most of the flowers in her garden. She is obviously a keen gardener. Best of all was the art gallery. Well known works of art adorn the walls and for an art lover this is something very special. I would certainly return to Melville B & B and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to spend a few days. Unfortunately my stay was far too short."

"Excellent place"

(South Africa) Mrs Ndlovu

"I will visit this guest house anytime. The hospitality was excellent and the breakfast was prepared with such love and warmth.

I love the place and I will visit it again."
