We enjoyed the pool, French bowls and private bar. The self catering garden cottage we stayed in, was the best spot on the premises - private, but not far from the fun. "From the moment Patrick (the owner) met us at the gate to the unfortunate occasion of having to depart by the same gate, we thoroughly felt at home and spoilt by the lovely accommodation and friendly hosting.

The rooms are of a very high standard, modern and comfortable.
The other communal facility areas including bar/TV room, lounge and breakfast area are well decorated and fun to spend time in. One could feel the friendliness as it was evident in all guests as we all chatted as if we were old friends.

Well done to Patrick and the ladies at Stannards - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope that we shall return to this delightful B&B soon.
