He even offered to braai for us the saturday evening (we were all girls) and gave us full use of his kitchen for salads, crockery and cutlery. "When we arrived at the B&B on Saturday, we were delighted to find that the B&B was more than we had expected, the owner welcomed us with a warm, hearty welcome to a clean, neat and the most homely place around (at least we felt that way).

On arrival, my daughter was immediately introduced to some of the resident animals and was allowed to play with the owner’s dog (Bella), a Jack Russell, just like ours and that made us feel right at home.

After a loooong day of "exploring" the area, with an aquarium, snake park, zoo, shopping mall(s), African art flea market so near by; we arrived at the B&B to a pre heated room, equipped with a lovely size gas heater, warm blankets, beautiful kitchen, clean bedding and room, a braai area outside each unit, enough dishes, coffee, tea sugar, milk everything you need just as if you were at home.

My daughter was allowed to help the caretaker feed the animals, which she loved. We were served our breakfast just before a sad departure, feeling rested and well accommodated.
