The late afternoon game drive, which was part of the room rate, was rewarded by us seeing both a pair of cheetahs and a leopard. The guide was very helpful and contributed to a once in a lifetime adventure. The road to the lodge was gravel but did not present any problems for our sedan car. The guest room was perhaps a little small but we spent so little time in the room it did not bother us. We woke up to giraffes in the garden !! Highly recommended as a holiday stay."

We have worked very hard over the past couple of years and decided we needed a break to re-energise our spirits and going to Bayala Lodge was a perfect choice. We were greeted there by the friendliest and most welcoming "friends", we have ever met. We were advised on sites to see and places to visit which suited our needs to a "T". The meals were fantastic, and the ideal time for the staff at Bayala to create an atmosphere for the staff and guests to interact. Our room was kept nice and clean and we left all our belongings in their capable hands when we went out. We honestly did not want to leave on Sunday. We would definitely go back for a visit and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave and his wonderful staff for the glorious week end there."
