If the Ultimate Hosts exist, then the title goes to Margi and Phil: they organized game drives on our behalf and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and hopes. We were genuinely sorry to leave when we came to the end of our stay, but we shall definitely go back there next time we visit South Africa."

"The weekend started off with a phone call from Philip at about 5.30pm wanting to know if we were alright travelling in the bad weather and asked what time we would arrive. On our arrival we were met by Philip and Margie and were given complimentary drinks and sat down on there beautiful wood deck that looks out over the garden. We felt very welcome and realized that this was going to be an enjoyable weekend. Phillp took us to our accommodation and explained to us the breakfast times and said we should enjoy our stay. The accommodation was excellent and nobody could ask for anything better. The next morning at about 8.oo.am we sat down to a hearty breakfast had a chat with the host which was great.

The whole Blue Jay experience was great we not only felt very welcome but when we left after breakfast on Sunday morning we actually felt as if we were part of the Blue Jay Lodge family. I would recommend to anybody that if you have not stayed at this lodge then you are missing out on great food, feeling very welcome and excellent accommodation."
