We wanted our family who live in the area to join us for breakfast the next day, and this receptionist quickly helped us to arrange that as well.
Avalon is beautiful and very well decorated. We were a party of three and both the rooms that we were occupying were very spacious and luxurious. The one, a single room, was facing the relaxing pool area, whilst the double room had a door leading toward the romantic rose gardens. Water features abound and add a great atmosphere to the already rejuvenating environment.
Everything was a little above expectation, including the breakfast. The service was great and the food mouth-watering. The owner of Avalon also personally came to greet us and find out what our stay has been like so far. She was very friendly and also made us feel at home. In fact, her passion for her little piece of paradise was truly palpable as she encouraged us to explore Avalon and take as many photos of the beautiful luscious surroundings as we wished.
We travel to Newcastle regularly and will definitely be visiting Avalon again during our next trip!
