Summerhill, is a small upmarket self-catering guesthouse, situated in the heart of the beautiful thatched village of St Francis Bay, in the Eastern Cape. It offers 4 modern, spacious & comfortable flats, and one free-standing cottage across the road from Summerhill that are fully equipped.

All the spacious bedrooms (beds covered with down duvets) have their own ensuite bathrooms. Towels, tea/coffee, DSTV & a daily cleaning service (week-days) provided free of charge. Free Wi- fi.

Set in a large, tranquil, indigenous garden (child safe) you can enjoy relaxing bird-watching from the comfort of your veranda. An undercover braai (BBQ) area makes for all weather entertaining. (Free wood provided.)

Secure, gated off-street parking is available. Laundry facilities available onsite.

Centrally situated it is walking distance to variety of quaint village shops, banks, restaurants, shopping malls in the village centre. The guesthouse is 5 minutes’ walk from the beautiful, white sandy main swimming beach, approximately 1hours drive from Port Elizabeth (airport) and 1.5 hours from the many fabulous, malaria free, Eastern Cape game farms that boast the BIG 5.

"My team and I (4 people) stayed over at Summerhill Self-catering accommodation as our last stop on a week long field trip. Shavonne and her little son welcomed us and gave us a tour of our lovely upstairs unit.

The decor in the bathrooms, kitchen and lounge were lovely with rustic details in certain places. The rooms were moderately decorated but the beds were very comfortable. We needed hot showers after a long day of work and we were not disappointed. Our stay was really short (one night) but we were provided with everything that we needed in that time period and our hosts were lovely. There was also secure parking for our vehicle and our boat.

The establishment is on the main road in St Francis Bay and therefore was situated close to The Village, shopping complex as well as being close to the harbour which is where we did our work. St Francis Bay is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.
