We fell solidly in love with a gorgeous milky chocolate-coloured pony, Cuppacino, and his side-kick, Martiens the donkey. These two were stroked and treated to apples, bananas, carrots whenever we were not swimming, sleeping, or out for a walk.

The mountains are beautiful, and the weather was pleasant, sunny with cool nights.

The chalet is well equipped, from bedding to kitchen utensils - one only needs food and clothing - everything else is to hand at the chalet, even hand wash soap on the basin and dishwashing liquid next to the drying towels in the kitchen.
