The facilities are excellent, clean, and safe and have a very homely feel about it and the hearty breakfast we were served in the mornings was delicious. Koo Karoo Guest Lodge is centrally located and within walking distance of a variety of good restaurants and shops.

The owners/managers are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality and service we received. My husband and I are definitely going back as we had a wonderful stay in Montagu and will stay nowhere else than at Paul and ShirleyÕs."

The rooms are neat and tidy the bathroom massive, we simply loved that. we were given wrong information by another guest but that didn't stop us from calling the owners and the record was set straight. They immediately met with us and re-assured us that what we saw on their website is what we'll be getting.
We felt so at home it was as if we're in our own place. We will recommend Koo Karoo to anybody, you feel right at home.
Dstv was a bonus and the Wi-Fi was the cherry on the cake.
We will go back anytime. I'm glad we didn't allow another guest to spoil our wonderful stay at Koo Karoo by believing what negative and upsetting information they gave us. Thank you to the owners Shirley and Paul for maintaining the lodge so wonderfully. High Five for Koo Karoo :)"

"The Koo Karoo was easy to find and had secure covered off-street parking. It was situated in a very peaceful area of town only a few blocks from the centre. We were made welcome by the English owners who briefed us on the local surroundings.

The room was light and airy, with direct access to the outside. There was a nice garden with a small pool (towels provided), and the atmosphere was one of total relaxation. The '24 hour' self service honesty bar helped!

The owners were keen for us to enjoy our time there and booked us into a good restaurant, only a block away. There were also several others a few blocks away.

We would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy more facilities of the town. We managed only an enjoyable couple of hours at the Hot Spring Resort about 3kms away, but we may return to play on the Golf Course!

We regretfully had to leave for a trip home, but not without being offered a hearty breakfast.
