"My recent stay of 10 nights at Park House Lodge will leave lasting memories of a charming vacation. The informal, eclectic style provided a pleasant place to chill from a year charged with work at a hectic pace. My en suite room was modestly furnished, but sufficient. I spent several evenings hanging out in the shared barbecue area with my pal and new mates from the lodge. The old sandstone building with its Oregon pine floors and door posts was marvellous and complemented by an odd collection of art deco furniture in the TV lounge. The lush gardens presented a tranquil environment. A shared kitchen and a bar ensured an easy pace, free from typical hotel constraints. The place was generally well kept, serviced and appointed. "
