That Place is situated on our working wine farm, That Wine Demesne. It's a comfortable, friendly home where you can spend a good relaxing holiday. Forests and pastoral views, rich bird life - and, if you are lucky - elephants wandering through their paddocks across the valley.

The house has 2 levels: two bedrooms upstairs and one outside, downstairs. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and the second bathroom has a shower.

The kitchen is well equipped and is an open plan design with the dining and lounge area.

Smart TV (so make sure you have your Netflix/Show Max/Amazon Prime accounts) with a variety of DVD's (if you are not Smart TV-friendly), and lots of books to read and games to play!

Swim in the deep clear swimming pool, play boulle or take a sauna. On a balmy African evening, enjoy a traditional braai (BBQ) and feast at the great wooden table. Or, spend lazy hours on the deck, thinking of nothing in particular.

Ons Hoek

Is filled with our parents books, treasures and knickknacks. This warm and comfortable house is for your exclusive use.
Designed as a lock-up-and-go for two people sharing, it has two bedrooms, ideal for the night-owl in the one and the early bird in the other. There is one bathroom to share. The en-suite bathroom is off the one bedroom with step-up bath and shower & basin (no loo), while the powder room (loo & basin) is adjacent the second bedroom.

There is an open-plan living area with lounge and an open fireplace lovely for those chilly winter’s evenings, or for a little romance. There is a well-stocked book-case, plenty of candles and an intimate dining area with Edwardian sideboard. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, convection/microwave oven, fridge and all the bits and pieces to create delicious meals.

The warm north-west verandah has a super undercover sitting space with BBQ (braai) area which you share with a couple of Rock Pigeons.

It’s a wonderful way to end the day: nature, fire, food and good conversation.

"This was our honeymoon spot. It was just amazing, better than the pics, exactly what we needed, secluded, charming, cozy, comfortable, with amazing views of elephants and trees from the terrace, with great fire places and braai areas, with so much to do in the surroundings and with the beautiful nature's valley at our doorsteps. Do yourself a favor and stay at that place at least once, you wont regret any moment of it. And if it rains, you just light up a fire and enjoy the cosy house and read a book or watch a dvd. A must."
