Up the Creek is a popular music festival just outside of Swellendam. The festival features loads of music on three different stages, bringing together top musicians from around the country. With the Breede River running past the campsite where the festival is held, there is plenty to do and see around the festival.

The three stages include: the main stage, the river stage and the all-night-long bar stage which runs throughout the four days. Food vendors offer delicious festival faire, coffee maestros, more stalls and bars throughout the festival and all at a reasonable price.
