Enjoy a fantastic music program, art program and food and wine program. Klein Karoo Klassique, our winter festival with world class classical music, delectable cuisine, blue ribbon wines and local art. The programme offers a divine medley of chamber music and symphonic music (with a dash of jazz included this year) performed by several ensembles and soloists. We are very privileged in that we are able to welcome several internationally known and (in most instances) also celebrated soloists in Oudtshoorn. This year the programme is compiled in such a manner that there is enough time to enjoy delicious meals together and to experience what Oudtshoorn has to offer. This year Klein Karoo Klassique is concluded with a traditional Sunday lunch at Schoemanshoek. Do pay a visit to the different art galleries and exhibitions in Oudtshoorn and ensure that you attend the Flemish choreograph Jan Wallyn’s exhibition of people … with movement; accompanied by classical music, of course!
