A creative weekend of cooking with Sam Linsell, food stylist, recipe developer and award winning food blogger. Course includes a food styling and food photography workshop.

Sam Linsell is a Cape town-based food stylist with a lifelong love for food. She is a passisonate cook that decided to quit corporate slavery 7 years ago and build her dream life around food creativity.

Cooking and baking have been Sam’s biggest adventures and consumed her for as long as she can remember. Now a professional food stylist, recipe developer and food photographer, she hunts down the delicious things in life. The internet is her natural habitat, and Drizzle and Dip her award winning food blog where she creates delicious things. Sam has also published two cookery books, Drizzle & Dip and Sweet.

FRIDAY

12:00 – Arrive at African Relish and settle in to accommodation.

13:00 – Light lunch prepared by Sam. Meet the team and discuss schedule.

14:30 – Cooking session. Interactive baking session with Sam Linsell for afternoon tea.

18:00 - Ghost walk and village ramble – Ailsa Tudhope, historian and story teller, takes you on a journey back in time with tales of ghosts and village rogues from the past.

20:00 – Welcome dinner at African Relish

SATURDAY

08:30 – Visit to village market

09:00 – Breakfast at African Relish

10:00 – Cooking session with Sam giving us array of tapas dishes for lunch

13:00 –Light lunch at African Relish

14:30 – Cooking session. Creating a 3 course meal with food styling tips.

20:00 – Dinner at African Relish where we enjoy the fruits of the day’s culinary endeavours.

SUNDAY

07:00 – Gather at African Relish for coffee and rusks. Botanical excursion with Dr Sue Milton, renowned botanist and specialist in Karoo biome biology.

09:30 – Breakfast hands-on cooking session

11:30 – Depart on onward journey
