The Mealie Marathon is one of the oldest marathons in the Free State running for the 39th time in 2017. The race goes along a flat and fast circular course from Welkom to Odendaalsrus via Riebeeckstad. Walkers are welcome to join in the half marathon and 10 kilometre race.
The Mealie Marathon forms an easy Comrades qualifier with a time limit of five hours.
Start times are at 05h30 and 06h00.
