The Darling Music Experience is a festival aimed at freshening the image of classical music, and increasing the accessibility of the music to different people. The festival showcases many top local composers and musicians, and each year a top local composer is commissioned to write a piece specifically for the festival. The Darling Music Experience hosts a variety of music from classical, to popular choir and jazz. Shows take place across the city of Darling in old churches, barns, an old factory, and on a wine estate.
There is plenty to do at the festival including tasting the local food and wines of Darling, or going on a Musical Wine Tasting Tour through the vineyards. For the children there is a Darling Music Experience Olympiad which is a fun music rally through Darling specifically organized for the children.
