This year celebrating its 99th year, the weekend of Friday 16 to Sunday 18 September celebrates everything Spring and everything floral in the iconic West Coast town of Darling. Over 100 stalls will offer something for everyone with the main attraction being the wildflowers which burst into flower in this region in spring each year. Everyone knows Hermanus is all about the whales – this Overberg gem is renowned for offering some of the best land-based whale watching in the world. On the weekend of Friday 30 September –Sunday 02 October Hermanus will be celebrating their 25th year of the Whale Festival. The line-up includes live entertainment from 30 local artists, plenty of great food, fantastic wines, loads of kids and family orientated entertainment in various marquees and hopefully, plenty of whales!
