Truth be told, the name Piggly Wiggly doesn't automatically inspire confidence in me. It reminds me of the American department store of the same name. However, nothing could be further from the truth when talking about the Piggly Wiggly Country Estate in the KwaZulu Natal midlands.
The estate started as a country retreat where the owners would sell vegetables from a small farm stall on the side of the road. Now it has grown to a wonderful farm stall which is a one-stop-shop with over 26 different shops selling top quality country goods from organic food to home decor.
There is plenty to do for the whole family including putt-putt, candle dipping and ceramic painting, and it's the ideal place to enjoy breakfast or lunch in the midlands. If you visit the Piggly Wiggly Country Estate make sure to try one of their award-winning cappuccinos.

Using traditional blacksmith methods combined with modern techniques, Sterlings Wrought Iron offers a variety of interesting wrought iron goods. They also have a new 'upcycle' range where they repurpose goods they have found in the scrap yard and turn them into upmarket home décor items.
