Kath recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at Faircity Quatermain Hotel in Sandton with her partner.
My partner and I enjoyed a fabulous 2 night stay at the Faircity Quatermain Hotel in Sandton recently. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and friendly hospitality from all the staff.
Our room was elegant and offered all the luxuries – comfortable queen-sized bed with crisp clean linen, Satellite TV, unlimited free internet access, air-conditioning, bar fridge, coffee & tea facilities, full shower and bath with lovely soaps and conditioners and more.
The informal lounge, library and reception areas provided comfortable spots to enjoy afternoon tea or a drink before dinner in the evening.
We absolutely loved the sound of trickling water from the many water-features throughout the hotel, providing a relaxing and soothing atmosphere.
Wherever you go in the hotel, you are surrounded by the beautiful gardens – it almost feels as if you are in the countryside, surrounded by trees, lush lawns and the sound of birds. But, all this in the middle of Sandton, with its many restaurants and shopping malls just a few minutes away...
On the first night we dined at the in-house restaurant and enjoyed the excellent steaks and lamb along with really great service and a romantic atmosphere.
On the second night we dined out at a nearby restaurant and were greeted warmly as always by the secure parking security staff upon our return.
The Full English Breakfast Buffet was a treat each morning. We chose to sit in the outside area by the swimming pool and really enjoyed the relaxing and tranquil setting to start our day.
