Gold Reef City
JohannesburgLocated on an old gold mine 8 kilometres from the centre of Johannesburg lies the Gold Reef City amusement park. The park is themed around the Gold Rush which occurred in Johannesburg around the 1880's.
Enjoy one of the many rides in the park including the Anaconda, which is the fastest and tallest inverted roller coaster in Africa. There is plenty to do for the whole family including gold panning, going on a mine tour, eating at one of the many restaurants, or just soaking up the history of the gold rush.
