The White Lady
UisLocated deep in the Brandberg Mountains is the White Lady bushmen rock painting. The painting is dated to have been painted at least 2000 years, and shows a medicine man performing a ritual dance. The white colour suggests that he is wearing a decorative outfit or has his body painted. Discovered in 1918, the White Lady is now a protected heritage site and visits are arranged with official guides who will take you on a 40 minute hike to the location of the paintings. The area in which the White Lady is situated is very rich in bushmen paintings with over a 1000 in the area.
