Buffalo Bay
KnysnaSituated in the marine reserve of Walker Bay, Buffalo Bay offers the ideal venue to relax and unwind in an idyllic setting while soaking up the sun’s rays and playing in the surf. The isolated Buffalo Bay is located between Knysna and Sedgefield and offers beautiful and unspoilt coastline, with excellent swimming and surfing conditions. The town of Buffalo Bay is unpretentious and quaint, with a natural simplicity.
Between May and November Southern Right Whales and dolphins are often spotted along the coastline, coming into the bay. There are also a number of hiking trails in the area, heading into the Goukamma Nature Reserve, or take a walk along the beach to the nearby town of Brenton on Sea.
